Dame Products: Eva

In 2014, Dame Products launched their brand alongside their first product Eva, through crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.

To establish their innovative purpose of making phenomenal sex toys by smart women, and motivate people to pledge their support, I crafted a brand foundation that linked their audience's aspirations - pleasure and intimacy - with the company and its product. After conducting ethnographic research with their audience and conducting workshops with the internal company stakeholders, we aligned on a foundation that came to life in mission, messaging, and graphic language - and was woven into their crowdfunding page, website, video, social media posts, conferences and panels, and press. 

Dame Products broke barriers - raising over $1.2 million through crowdfunding and ultimately being pinned as a pioneer in the"female-led women’s sexuality movement that has made its home in New York" (NYTimes). Three years later, this work is still the foundation on which the brand is built.
