The Amica Center for Immigrant’s Rights is a Washington, D.C.–based nonprofit at the forefront of challenging the disproportionate immigration detention and deportation consequences of state criminal convictions.
They invited me to consult on a pioneering initiative to expand access to impact litigation and criminal legal counsel—aimed at strengthening legal precedents protecting immigrant rights in the United States. Through strategic research and positioning, I named the initiative The Immigration Impact Lab, highlighting its spirit of experimentation, innovation, and resource sharing.
This foundation guided the program’s rollout across its website, email communications, events, and social media, establishing the Lab as a critical hub for advancing immigrant rights and shaping legal strategies nationwide.
